I was recently alerted in a post by MacPasquale to the phenomenon of incels.
Does anyone here identify as an incel?
Does the use of that term imply that it's wrong to be chaste? Or does it describe a certain kind of resentment that has no other word?

I don't know anyone who identifies as an incel. It appears to be a mostly Internet-based thing. There is no doubt a certain resentment that such men feel. They don't want to be celibate and/or unmarried, yet can't find girlfriends or wives. That's going to frustrate most men, of course. I do choose to be an unmarried chaste man. That's a choice on my part, not because I can't go out there and find a wife.
