got blogged a lot this past week. All was well, pretty much everyone thought
it was funny (as it was meant to be), until Mark Shea blogged about it and
one of his site visitors got upset because of this site's Jewish-Catholic
relations section. In Mark Shea's blog's comment boxes, said visitor argued
with me as to what is actually in the Talmud, and the results (thus far,

You could add, of course, Mary the Mother of God, SS. Peter, Paul, John the
Divine, James the Greater, James the Less, etc., Teresa of Avila, Teresa
Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein), etc. The point: the Church IS Israel,
we are "the Jews," Catholicism IS the Old Testament religion fulfillfed
and the Hebrew Catholic is the "fulfilled Jew." Post-Temple Judaism is
apostate and antichrist, a branch broken off from Israel -- a branch that
may be grafted back in with repentance and Baptism. Race is not and never
will be the issue. NOTE: aside from this one page, this site is otherwise
not recommended at all as it attempts to Judaize Catholicism and is
very faulty theologically. See

Of course, I don't believe "evolutionary psychology" tells the whole story
or buy his sociobiological theories in general, especially when they apply
to the (former) success of Christianity, but this book has important information
that we in the formerly Christian West need to be familiar with. |
