Originally published in the Angelus magazine, this article (onsite) is
one of the best articles I've read on the Mystery of the Jewish people,
their relationship with Christians, the meaning of it all, and where
it's all headed. A must read!

A book, in .pdf format here, written by Professor Ariel Toaff -- son of
the Chief Rabbi of Rome, and a professor of Jewish Renaissance and
Medieval History at Bar-Ilan University in Israel -- about the reality
behind so-called "blood libel" allegations made against some Jews
during the Middle Ages. This book was published in Hebrew, in Israel,
but when translated into other languages, outrage ensued. Threats
were made against the writer's life, demands were made that he be fired
from his teaching post, and all copies of the book disappeared from
bookstores, deliveries of the book were disrupted, etc., and it's
virtually unavailable to read in print in any language but Hebrew. So
here it is, in spite of the actions and threats of those who don't want
you to read it.

You could add, of course, Mary the Mother of God, SS. Peter, Paul, John
the Divine, James the Greater, James the Less, etc., Teresa of Avila,
Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein), etc. The point: the Church
IS Israel, we are "the Jews," Catholicism IS the Old Testament religion
fulfillfed and the Hebrew Catholic is the
"fulfilled Jew." Post-Temple Judaism is apostate and antichrist, a
branch broken off from Israel -- a branch that may be grafted back in
with repentance and Baptism. Race is not and never will be the issue.
NOTE: aside from this one page, this site is otherwise not
recommended at all as it attempts to Judaize Catholicism and is very
faulty theologically.

Generator got blogged a lot this past week. All was well, pretty
much everyone thought it was funny (as it was meant to be), until Mark
Shea blogged about it and one of his site visitors got upset because of
this site's Jewish-Catholic relations section. In Mark Shea's blog's
comment boxes, said visitor argued with me as to what is actually in
the Talmud, and the results (thus far, anyway) can be found at the
